Sign the pledge

I will at the
earliest opportunity, assemble in London in a public demonstration of
respect to the victims of the July 7 atrocity, defiance of the murderers who
carried it out and solidarity with the people of London but only if 2,500
other people will too
.”

The streets belong to us not terrorists. Sign the pledge.

  2. For Abdel-Khaleq and Michael: if you have returned here you will see that your comments have been removed. This isn’t something we do lightly, consistent with our belief in freedom of speech. However, we will not have this forum used to espouse racism, Islamophobia, anti-semitism or apologism for mass murder of any kind. Nor will The Sharpener be used to discuss and debate the imdividually deluded versions of history that you both seem to have. The only consolation I can take from this is that neither of you are using IPs originating from London, or indeed anywhere in the UK. Your individual brands of poison are not wanted in my city.

  3. Uh, when is this assembly going to be?

  4. Yusuf: once we have a groundswell of people, we will decide a time and place. To be honest, we’re trying to get momentum going. None of us here at The Sharpener has the experience to organize a mass rally (which is what we hope it will turn into). One or two people we do know have that ability. We’re trying to mobilize and energize so Londoners can have their voices heard in the same way the people of Madrid did.

I’d like to suggest the rally be in mid September, for selfish reasons, I’ll be in London then and can attend.

If you can’t wait till September, I’ll understand, and my thoughts will be with you!!

    Good luck!!

    I Pledge to it too.
I will always stand for and stand with London against any acts of terror.
London gave me anither chance in life, how would I forget this.
To hell with the terrorist (dead or alive) and their organisers
I stand by London, like a mountain.
