Or the “we saved your ass back in…” argument. And generally, these comments are coming from the same group of people who have finally realized that “oceans no longer protect us.” We need a much better public education system (maybe one that includes a bit of information about history or something).

If you ever get attacked again it will be those awful Americans who will once again save your asses from destruction, and if Brits rob American companies and the British government is too lazy to act and would just as soon it was an American problem, what do you expect the Americans to do?

America acts while Britain gets rolled over on. Stand up for your god damned selves for a welcome change, eh?
