Even if Blair had not joined the invasion, the EU could not have found a common stance. A list of those who supported: Spain, Holland, UK, Denmark, Poland, Italy, and other Eastern European countries. Though people on the street in Western Europe were nearly unanimously opposed to Iraq, its politicians weren’t. It’s something Americans frequently get wrong.

My point is; USA invading Iraq was what divided EU, not Blair.
